When selecting a 15L fuel bladder, there are several options to consider, including rope attachment - officially approved for competition use, but may need to be replaced and can become undone - and metal attachments, which provide longer-lasting use.

For the fuel hose, consider the connecting side of the outboard - if it is the standard port (left) side, then the 2.5m hose is sufficient, but if it is retrofitted to the starboard (right) side, then the 3m hose is required to make the turn. Additionally, all joints are covered with heat shrink tubing for added protection.

Our custom made pressure gauges have a rage from 0-100kpa indication every 2kpa. 

We have added a red line at 25kpa (recommended pressure for pontoons and kelson). 

They come with a protective shock cover and on the back we have attached a "ShockWatch" sensor that will change colour when dropped from greater than 1m to indicate that it might be damaged or need re-calibrating. 

The lens is removable so they can be calibrated if required.

They also come with a bay bridge valve adapter. 

This adapter can also be used on the end of a air compressor, in a foot or hand pump hose.

Standard Hollow Tilt Tube

We recommend using the hollow tube as they do less damage to the rest of the engine if over tightened. Also the tube fails rather than the swivel bracket or transom brackets.

In extreme situations the hollow tube can be easily cut out.

Quicksilver Fuel Tanks. Quicksilver fuel tanks are 25-litre and come with quick-release fuel connectors.

The Quicksilver fuel lines suitable for the quick release fuel tanks are available in 2.5m (8ft) standard lengths or 3.6m (12ft) longer by request.

Having a spare fuel tank, ready to connect is a great safety feature when out at sea or on a river.

Remember to use freash fuel as research suggests that fuel goes off after about 3 weeks in a fuel tank.

The easiest way to empty a Fuel Bladder

Install the Dainer under the cap of the Jerry Can, rise the bladder above and let it empty.

This part is made to strengthen the mid section of the engine.

It can be tightened with a 24mm spanner which makes the turning tighten.

The tighter the turning the stronger the mid section will be.

Since boat engines are designed to run at constant RPMs and are put under intense loads, it is very important to properly run-in your motor for reliability and to ensure full life cycle is achieved. although It is a simple process not everyone has the time in there busy week/weekend to complete it for their outboard. We recommend that everyone with a new motor follow the run-in procedure that their manufacturer recommends.

our run-in consists of;

- 10 hours in a tank as per the mercury manual 
- Petrol and oil included
- Basic service after 10 hours included.

Loctite 454 is an instant adhesive designed for the assembly of difficult-to-bond materials which require uniform stress distribution and high tensile and/or shear strength. The product provides for the rapid bonding of a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics and elastomers. The gel consistency enables overhead and vertical application. Loctite 454 is also suited to bonding porous materials such as wood, paper, leather and fabric. Perfect for all quick repair jobs.

LOCTITE 263 is a red, dual cure, acrylic dimethacrylate ester fluorescent threadlocker designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. It cures between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It works on active metals (e.g. brass, copper) and passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces.

This Performance Service has been designed to get your 30hp Mercury ready to race at its optimal performance. While ensuring your tilt and steering hold strong throughout the weekend.

This is recommended to be done once a season or before a major competition (North Island Championships and NZ IRB Nationals).
