The easiest way to empty a Fuel Bladder

Install the Dainer under the cap of the Jerry Can, rise the bladder above and let it empty.

If you have size 13 or size 5 feet these can be adjusted to suit every driver or crewperson.

Made from industrial Velcro these are simple and fast to adjust.

Reusable mat with a replaceable, internal absorbent for catching leaks and drips when refuelling or uncoupling hoses.

Since boat engines are designed to run at constant RPMs and are put under intense loads, it is very important to properly run-in your motor for reliability and to ensure full life cycle is achieved. although It is a simple process not everyone has the time in there busy week/weekend to complete it for their outboard. We recommend that everyone with a new motor follow the run-in procedure that their manufacturer recommends.

- 10 hours in a tank as per the mercury manual 
- Petrol and oil included
- Basic service after 10 hours included.

8. Gear lever selector Loctite and tightened.
9. Recoil removed, cleaned and assessed for condition*.
10. Tiller arm assembly assessed for condition*.
11. Tiller arm mount bolts greased and tightened.
12. Tiller arm tension set so it doesn’t fall.
13. Check the motor makes full throttle.
14. Inspect the chock for function and doesn't stick.
15. Clean fuel filter.
16. Fuel bayonet assessed for condition*.
17. Check fuel lines are not kinked or damaged*.
18. Check spark plug leads/caps not damaged*.
19. Air Box bolts secured with Loctite.
20. Check electrical wires for damage.
21. Tidy electrical wires with new cable tie.
22. Toggle not bent*.
23. Toggle Feet Secured with Loctite.
24. Check no arcing of electrical Leads.
25. Set Idle and fuel mixture.
26. Compression test both chambers.
27. Grease motor nipples.
28. Check Safety Strop for condition*.
29. Engine cleaned.
30. Fit Cowling.

LOCTITE 263 is a red, dual cure, acrylic dimethacrylate ester fluorescent threadlocker designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. It cures between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It works on active metals (e.g. brass, copper) and passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces.

This Performance Service has been designed to get your 30hp Mercury ready to race at its optimal performance. While ensuring your tilt and steering hold strong throughout the weekend.

This is recommended to be done once a season or before a major competition (North Island Championships and NZ IRB Nationals).

25. Check fuel bayonet can fit easily and adjusted.
26. Fuel bayonet cleaned as required.
27. Check fuel lines are not kinked or damaged*.
28. Check spark plug leads/caps not damaged*.
29. Air Box bolts secured with Loctite.
30. Check electrical wires for damage.
31. Fuel line on gear lever side if requested.
32. Tidy electrical wires with new cable tie.
33. Tilt tube cleaned and assessed for condition*.
34. Tilt tightening when adjusted.

40. Steering stiffens when bolt is tightened.

45. Compression test both chambers.

47. Check Safety Strop for condition*.

49. Sandpaper fitted to gear lever.
