2.5m vs 3m fuel hose
lt comes down to which side of the outboard the fuel line connects. If standard side, Port (left) then 2.5m hose is perfect but if you have retrofitted it to the Starboard (right) then you will need the 3m hose so you can turn the outboard.
All Joins are covered with heat shrink to remove and shape edges.

The Quicksilver fuel lines suitable for the quick release fuel tanks are available in 2.5m (8ft) standard lengths or 3.6m (12ft) longer by request.
Having a spare fuel tank, ready to connect is a great safety feature when out at sea or on a river.
Remember to use freash fuel as research suggests that fuel goes off after about 3 weeks in a fuel tank.
